The origin and grammaticalization of the conjunction buguo

摘要：
现代汉语的转折连词“不过”来源于副词“不过”,而副词“不过”来源于偏正式的动词短语“不过”。“不过”的语法化过程就是功能的扩展过程,“不过”的语义由实到虚,形成了一个渐变的序列。
Abstract：
it is intended to discuss the grammatical alteration of the word buguo from notional to formal usage. What is the conjunction buguo at present resulted from adverb buguo,which derived originally from the verbal phrase buguo .The grammaticalization of buguo is actually a process of functionalization expansion. Likewise, the semantic shift of buguo has developed a gradual schema.
