The heritage of Chinese traditional philosophy and modernization
摘要/Abstract
关于传统哲学与现代化的关系,学术界主要有三种观点:一是复古主义,二是全盘西化,三是折衷主义。此三种观点均有偏颇。现代化首先是价值观和思维方式的现代化。解决传统哲学与现代化的关系,应从传统哲学的价值观和思维方式出发,把传统哲学与现代化需要解决的主要问题结合起来,在马克思主义指导下建立社会主义新文化。
There are three views in the academic field concerning the relation between traditional philosophy and modernization: returning to the ancients, complete westernization,and eclectisism. None of them is not without prejudice. The matter of primary importance is the modernization of value and mode of thinking. The relation between traditional philosophy and modernization should be viewed from the values of traditional philosophy and the modernization of mode of thinking. The new socialist culture should be established under the guidance of Marxism and based on the combination of traditional philosophy and the solution of the problems in the proces of modernization.
