"Aesthetic Utopia"--Marcus's politics of art and literature

摘要：
马尔库塞沿着马克思社会批判的思路,认为发达工业时代的晚期资本主义是一种新型的极权主义社会,科技理性的控制和压抑使得人的精神的奴役和不自由达到了前所未有的程度。而要冲破这种单向度的社会,实现人的解放,观念变革迫在眉睫。因此,审美之维作为拯救世界的最后力量;而艺术以其对现实世界的对抗和否定扮演着重要的政治功能。
Abstract：
Following the theory of Marx's social critique, Herbert Marcus believed that a late capitalist country with highly developed industry is a new type of totalitarianism. The control exercised by scitechrationalism makes the people suffer greatly from mental constraint and ideological fetters. The realization of human emancipation and conception change have become extremely urgent. Aesthetic has become the last remedy to save the world, and art plays an important political role in resisting and negating the reality.
