American policy of stationing troops in Qingdao(1945一1949)
摘要/Abstract
1945～1949年美国海军陆战队驻青岛达四年之久,主要任务一是平衡苏联在东北的势力;二是帮助蒋介石训练海军,实现美蒋军事合作,以确保战后中国的亲美倾向。但内战形势的发展变化使美国不得不考虑青岛驻军的留、撤问题,至上海解放,青岛美军无奈撤离。这一过程充满了希望与犹疑,从侧面反映出美国对华总体构想逐步破灭的阶段性变化。
From 1945 to 1949,America stationed its marine corps in Qingdao,the purpose of which was to balance the military power of U. S. S. R. in China’s Northeastern provinces, and to help Chiang Kaishek train his navy so as to realize the military cooperation of America and KMT. However, the development of civil war forced America to reconsider its policy to station troops in Qingdao. The American marine corps were forced to withdraw when Shanghai was liberated. This event reflected the change of American policy toward China and its overall strategy was finally put to an end.
