Mozi’s moral principles and the reconstruction of modern China’s moral values
摘要/Abstract
墨子的伦理思想以“兼爱”为原则,又进一步阐发了“尚利”“贵义”的义利统一的功利主义价值观,反映了当时广大劳动人民的利益要求,有许多合理内容,在中国伦理思想史上独树一帜,占有重要地位。当代中国“以德治国”的关键在于如何科学建构道德价值体系。墨子的伦理思想以其木身合理的内涵与时代需要相契合,为当代中国的道德建设提供了可资利用的理论资源。
Mozi(reverent name for Mo Di)took universal love as principle and the combination of treasuring benefits and esteeming righteousness as his values,which reflected the need of the then working people.There is something reasonable in his doctrine which has occupied an important place in China’s ethics.Nowadays,the key point in China's"governing the country with morality"is the reconstruction of the value system in a scientific way.Mozi's moral principles can be taken as valuable reference in our efforts to reestablish modern China's moral values.
