On Gu Yanwu’s philosophical ideas of Confucianism

摘要：
顾炎武作为清代考据大师为世所称道，许多学者都认为其治学惟重考据而不重义理，即有义理亦纯为宋学余绪，而无特立之论。其实这是对顾氏思想的一个误解。顾氏理学以经学为基础，而以经世致用为指归，是一种与宋明理学基本精神完全不同的新理学。
Abstract：
Gu Yanwu was well-known as an outstanding master for textual research. Many scholars believe that Gu laid emphasis on textual research but paid no attention to argumentation;and if there was any,it was based on neo一Confucianism of Cheng Yi and Zhu Xi. As a matter a fact,that is a misunderstanding of Gu's thought. Gu's idealist philosophy was based on Confucian classics and stood for”learning for the purpose of utilization".So his philosophcal ideas were entirely different from those of neo-Confucian school of the Song and Ming dynasties.
