Divinity of aesthetics and aesthetics for religion——Debates of Pan Zhichang and Cai Yuanpei
摘要/Abstract
蔡元培“美育代宗教”命题存在学理误区，潘知常代之美学神性维度是以海德格尔式现代审美救世主义颠覆其古典席勒式的美学救世主义。不同于宗教，美学的信仰维度应该是真与善，“真”既是科学的真理，也包括从现实日常生活中提炼的真情，甚至包括各种不同宗教教派中某些教义经过改造可纳入（适应）世俗的某些真缔。宇宙之真性系着于无限之神性，而善作为人类社会有限价值消解于无限之中，美则在“无名”“无言”中被无限赋予“天地大美”非造神主义之客体神性。
Whereas the theme of aesthetics for religion by Cai Yuanpei is problematic, the divinity of aesthetics by Pan Zhichang is based on Heidegger who defies Schiele. Aesthetics differs from religion in the dimensions of truth and benevolence. The aesthetic truth includes scientific and worldly truth which relates, in turn, to the divinity of the indefiniteness of cosmos. Moreover, benevolence refers to the limited values that are melted to the indefiniteness of human life. Any unstated or wordless beauty may be true beauty, free from worldliness.
