The chaos and social rumors in the late Qing
摘要/Abstract
摘要：
晚清时期,内忧外患交迭,形势动荡紊乱,这成为当时传闻盛行的特定社会环境因素。如战乱常有,教案频发,朝政多变,灾祸连连,公众比较普遍地存在多重的危机感,大到国家民族的存亡,小到个人生存境遇,变端难卜,命运叵测。处于这种环境条件当中,特别是每当突发性事变来临之际,相关传闻便会在广大公众或特定群体中生发流布,产生不可忽视的社会影响。
Abstract：
The rumors of domestic disorders and international instabilities are increasingly popular in the late Qing. In addition, f requent warrings, coups d'etat , and disasters add to the crisis. It is in this context of unprecedented incidents, the rumors that spread in public or in certain communities will result in horrible impacts.
