Zheng Zhenduo and his early interpretations of sociology and literature

摘要：
“五四”时期郑振铎与瞿秋白等人创办《新社会》旬刊, 鼓吹社会改造思潮, 其社会观受到美国社会学家吉丁斯的影响, 注重思想感情在社会形成和构建过程中的功能。郑振铎的文学观承续了其社会观中包含的对“社会”的理解, 强调作为文学要素之一的情感的普遍性所具有的社会功能。郑振铎与郁达夫等创造社作家文学观上的差异, 很大程度上即源于他们各自不同的社会观, 这与他们各自不同的发言位置以及更早时期所置身的不同的思潮语境密切相关。
Abstract：
During the May Fourth Movement Zheng Zhenduo and Qu Qiubai, under the influence of the American socialist Giddings, initiated the journal New Society, advocating the social reforms and stressing the universal functions of emotions. So Zheng. s literary standpoint speaks for his empathy. In contrast, Zheng Zhenduo and Yu Dafu differ, to a great extent, in their social values in relation to their back grounds.
