On the governance by ceremony by the legalist pioneers

摘要：
法家先驱管仲、子产、邓析和叔向等人,都对“礼治”作过探讨,并运用于实践。管仲强调“四维”、“八经”；子产折中于礼法之间,认为礼是最高的自然法则；叔向坚决维护传统的“礼治”,邓析则“不法先王,不是礼义”。他们的言论与实践对后世产生了不同程度的影响。
Abstract：
Guan Zhong,Zi Chan,Deng Xi and Shu Xiang,the legalist masters study the governance by ceremony and put it to application.Guan Zhong argues for the four dimensions and eight books,Zi Chan a compromise between ceremony and law,declaring ceremony as the ideal law of nature,Shu Xiang the traditional governance by ceremony,and Deng Xi claiming that it is not ceremony without imitating former kings.Their practice and remarks exert great influences upon later generations.
