摘要：
美国十九世纪超验主义作家爱默生在构建他的超验主义学说时,放眼东方,积极从中国古代哲学思想中吸取有益成分。爱默生的超验主义与中国的儒家和道家思想相比,从“道”与“超灵”、相似的自然观以及对待物质财富的态度具有一定的相似性。
Abstract：
American transcendentalist Emerson claims in 19th century that the ancient Chinese philosophical thoughts should be obtained in construction of his transcendentalism.This paper makes a comparative study between the transcendentalism of Emerson and Confucianism and Taoism in relation to viewpoints of nature and materialism.
