摘要：
“切音字运动”是汉字改革史上的重要阶段,其历时20年的实践探索与理论争鸣深刻触及了语言文字的诸多根本问题,具有重大的学术价值与应用价值。厘清“切音字运动”历史,发掘其间经验教训,是构建汉字改革史的需要,也是语文现代化建设的需要。
Abstract：
The phoneticization movement that lasts for 20 years is an important reform of Chinese, which involves many essential questions of the language. It is, therefore, of great academic values. This paper is intended to offer a historical study of the movement for the sake of Chinese reform and modernization.
