The discursive narrative of the Long March spirit is a systematic narrative framework constructed by the Chinese Communist Party around the spirit of the Long March.It has evolved through four stages: discourse foundation in the revolutionary narrative, discourse inheritance in the struggle narrative, discourse expansion in the development narrative, and discourse elevation in the rejuvenation narrative.This evolution reveals a deep developmental logic that is characterized by the dominance of political tasks, the driving force of theoretical innovation, the adjustment of social practice, and the constancy of value positions.Across different historical periods, as the connotation and forms of the Long March spirit discourse have continuously enriched, its political mobilization function has progressed through successive phases—from organizational mobilization to construction mobilization, reform mobilization, and finally strategic mobilization.On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Red Army’s Long March victory, deepening research on the discursive narrative of the Long March spirit can help convert revolutionary memory into a vital ideological resource for strengthening political identity, reinforcing value guidance, and consolidating social consensus.Moreover, it can facilitate the systematic and theoretical advancement of research on the spiritual lineage of Chinese Communists, thereby providing academic support for developing an independent, distinctly Chinese system of knowledge in philosophy and the social sciences.
