The Impact of Digital Infrastructure Construction on Rural Industrial Revitalization: A Case Study of “Broadband China”
摘要/Abstract
产业振兴是乡村振兴战略的首要任务和核心环节，同时也是解决我国乡村经济社会可持续发展问题的关键。基于2011-2021年我国283个地级及以上城市的面板数据，就“宽带中国”对乡村产业振兴的影响做了实证检验。研究结果表明：第一，数宇基础设施建设有效提升了乡村产业振兴水平；第二，数字普惠金融发展、创新创业是数字基础设施建设推动产业振兴的重要机制，传统基础设施建设在数字基础设施建设影响乡村产业振兴的过程中起到了正向调节的作用；第三，数字基础设施建设对产业振兴的影响具有区域异质性。在中部地区、西部地区、中等规模城市以及小规模城市，数字基础设施的政策效应较为明显，而在东部地区，大规模城市数字基础设施建设政策效应不明显。
Industrial revitalization serves as a primary task and core component of the rural revitalzation strategy,playing a critical ole in addressing the sustainable development of rural economies and societies in China.Based on panel data from 283 prefecture-level and higher cities across China from 2011 to 2021,this study empirically examines the impact of the“Broadband China”initiative on nural industrial revitalization.The findings indicate,fist,that the construction of digital infrastructure has significantly enhanced the level of rural industrial revitalization.Second,the development of digital inclusive finance and the promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship serve as important mechanisms through which digital infrastructure fosters industrial revitalization.Moreover,traditional infrastructure construction plays a positive moderating role in the relationship between digital infastructure and rural industrial revitaization.Third,the impact of digital infrastructure on industrial revitalization exhibits regional heterogeneity.The policy effects of digital infrastructure are more pronounced in central and westen regions,as well as in medium-sized and small cities,while in eastern regions and large cities,the effects are not as evident.
