Shijing (Classic of Poetry) textual scholarship encompasses the corpus of commentaries and research literature on the Shijing. Over the past seven decades, significant advancements have been achieved in four key areas, namely facsimile reproduction, textual collation, critical research, and digital archiving. Nevertheless, persistent challenges include redundant facsimile publications, inconsistent collation standards, superficial research engagement, and inadequate digital resource development. Moving forward, the study requires enhanced scholarly collaboration and strategic utilization of computational technologies to establish comprehensive digital repositories, facilitate broader dissemination of research outcomes, and bring substantive advancement of traditional cultural heritage.
