Monosyllabic Tone and Sandhi of “Rising + Falling-Rising” Tritonal Cang-hui Dialect Area of Hebei Province
摘要/Abstract
河北沧惠片沧州东部地区广泛分布着三字调方言，其单字调除了包含阴平及去声调类以外，还有阳平与上声调类发生合并。这种分合表现与三字调“银川型”类似。在连调层面，河北“沧惠片”与“银川型”三调方言阳平和上声调类均保持对立，但两地调类复原范围不同：①沧州：上声+阳平≠上声+上声、阳平+阳平≠上声+阳平；②银吴片：阳平+去声≠上声+去声。此外沧州地区“阳平上”的调类合并呈现单向性，是上声调类并入阳平调类。
Tri-tone dialects are widely distributed in the eastern part of Cangzhou (Cang-hui Piece), Hebei Province. In addition to its monosyllabic tones of “level” (55) and “falling” (51), there is also the merging of the rising (35) and falling-rising (214) tones. This type of combination and division is similar to the tritonal dialect of “Yinchuan Type.” In terms of sandhi, the rising (35) and falling-rising (214) tones still remain independent in both tritonal dialects of “Cang-hui Piece” and “Yinchuan Type.” However, the scopes of tone category restoration in the two dialects are different. ① Cangzhou: falling-rising (214) + rising (35) ≠ falling-rising (214) + falling-rising (214), rising (35) + rising (35) ≠ falling-rising (214) + rising (35); ② Yinchuan: rising (35) + falling (51) ≠ falling-rising (214) + falling (51). At the same time, the merging of the tone category of “rising + falling-rising” in Cangzhou area is unidirectional, which means that the falling-rising tone category is merged into the rising tone category.
