In the era of digital economy, Internet platform has improved the efficiency of resource allocation, but platform monopoly also has an impact on market order. We should have a dialectical view on the progress of platform monopoly and the necessity of breaking it. Internet platform is the product of the marriage of digital technology and industrial capital. Data has become the core factor of production, reshaping the industrial structure and employment structure, leading the operation of social and economic activities to a certain extent, and determining the order of value distribution. Based on the coupling of data control and value transfer, this paper analyzes the platform value movement by using Marxist scientific abstraction method, and finds that the platform income mainly comes from value capture rather than value creation. At present, due to the lack of effective constraints on capital, the platform is driven to gradually weaken the nature of production service and even become a speculative tool, seeking monopoly profits in blind cross-border expansion, resulting in damage to users’ rights and interests and national security risks. Therefore, it is necessary to put forward governance suggestions based on the platform monopoly mechanism in order to bridge the digital divide and promote the coordinated and healthy development of platform economy and real economy.
