With the acceleration of rural revitalization strategy, rural culture revitalization has been brought from theoretical discussion to actual practice. However, in many current practices, rural culture revitalization is still facing some difficulties, such as unclear connotation and objectives, absence of practice subjects, shrinking of public cultural space, lack of cultural activities and insufficient development of cultural industries. Therefore, defining and clarifying the connotation and objectives of rural cultural revitalization is an urgent task in the new era. Under this context, this paper provides new pathways for rural cultural revitalization by creating a fourdimensional framework in the aspects of subject, space, activity and industry from the perspective of cultural endogeneity.
