On Disseminating State of the Literary Criticism in The Romance of the Western Chamber Annotated by Jin Shengtan in Qing Dynasty
摘要/Abstract
成书于清初的金圣叹批评本《西厢记》是中国文论史上的名著。金圣叹在评点《西厢记》中提出并阐发了诸多极富理论创见的文论思想，然而这些文论思想在清代的传播却是一个高开低走的传播局面。金批《西厢记》的文论思想在清初影响极大，并得到李渔、毛纶等文化名人的继承和发扬。然而清代中期之后，其文论思想的传播却出现失承的态势。之所以如此，既与清代的文化政策、思想风气有关，也与清代戏曲发展的形势有关。
A masterpiece in the history of Chinese literary criticism, The Romance of the Western Chamber annotated by Jin Shengtan (金圣叹, 16081661 AD) appeared first in the early Qing Dynasty (16441912 AD). Jin Shengtan put forward and expounded many creative literary theories in his commentary on The Romance of the Western Chamber. However, the dissemination of these literary theories in the Qing Dynasty began with a flourish but petered out towards the end of the Qing Dynasty. They were very influential in the early Qing Dynasty, and were inherited and carried forward by cultural celebrities such as Li Yu (李渔, 16111680 AD) and Mao Lun (毛纶 life span unclear). However, after the midQing Dynasty, the dissemination of his literary criticism tapered off. Besides the cultural policy and ideological atmosphere, the reason is also related to the development of the traditional Chinese opera in the Qing Dynasty.
