Posttheory, as a theoretical form developed after theory, is also a theory in nature. It inherits the critical spirit of theory and the humanistic tradition of exploring the meaning and value of the real world. Its difference from theory is that it returns to the literature field from the expanding state of theory. This return is not a regress to the pretheoretical state, but to think about theory in a literary way to promote the literalization of theory, to explore the transformation of the relationship between theory and literature from the Iit to the Iyou and the integration of theoretical thinking and literary thinking, and to investigate the real world with an overlapping problematic framework of literature and theory. The literary path of posttheory is not only a theoretical conception, but also a reflection and correction of the bubble of cultural theory and the lack of humanistic spirit. This literary return has become a common feature in posttheories such as the presentism, crossborder poetics, neoaestheticism, historical formalism and cognitive poetics.
