From Science-Metaphysics Debate to Sokal Hoax—On Humanities and Science from the Perspective of Cultural Philosophy
摘要/Abstract
作为既存在联系又充满差异的一组文化概念，人文与科学之间的冲突与张力深植于东西方思想发展的历史进程之中。近代以来，人文与科学之间矛盾的不断激化，凸显了人类社会内部两种不同的文化思想的冲突。然而传统观念往往囿于争论表面的负面效应而试图消解双方的紧张关系。实际上，一系列人文与科学论争爆发背后的内在历史缘由，既阐释了人文与科学之争的客观性与逻辑必然性，又印证了人类思想发展在不同地域之间呈现出的内在一致性。
The conflict and tension between humanities and science, a pair of cultural concepts with both connections and differences, is deeply rooted in the historical development process of eastern and western thoughts. Since modern times, the contradiction between humanities and science has intensified, highlighting the conflicts between two different cultural thoughts in human society. However, the traditional ideas are often confined to the superficial negative effects of the disputes, and try to dispel the tension between the two sides. In fact, the intrinsic historical reasons behind the outbreak of a series of disputes between humanities and science not only explain the objectivity and logical inevitability of the disputes between humanities and science, but also confirm to the intrinsic consistency of the development of human thoughts in different regions.
