Post road Tang poems were very informative in depicting the frontier regions:geographical and natural sceneries, the ideal of achievement in Anxi frontier fortress, thoughts in guarding the remote frontier. Anxi Silk Road was also portrayed in these poems, the cultural messengers from foreign countries, the military couriers with single horses, the sound of camel bells from business trips, the unique landscape of mixed ethnic groups, and the exotic sceneries and customs on both sides of the couriers. These poems have left a trace of the Silk Road of that era and become a perspective for us to understand the life of Anxi frontier region in the Tang Dynasty.
