This study explores the daily life of Professor Zheng Tianting and his peers, such as activities from getting up to bedtime, keeping physical fitness, diet and hobbies, family life, approaching nature, appreciation of cultural relics and various artistic and recreational activities, nostalgia for deceased relatives, contact between relatives and friends, diary writing and cultivation of morality etc. They knew well that people live in groups, hence they took the initiative to "look for friends," make friends, be friends who will give forthright admonition, encourage each other, solve problems, create a hardworking atmosphere. They put quality, spice, and vitality in their positive lives. Their lives are consistent with the social atmosphere of the time in three aspects:in the same wartime environment, they had the same patriotic spirit and the confidence that China will win; they carried forward the spirit of humanity and the scholarly pursuit of "planning and worrying before the people and being happy after the people;" they upheld the spirit of the time that featured the perception of independent personality.
