US-Japan alliance relations in 1950s from the perspective of US army in Japan
摘要/Abstract
维护驻日美军继续稳定驻留日本，是美国同意调整双边同盟关系的另一逻辑主线。在1950年代美日同盟关系调整过程中，无论是美国政府同意日本政府提出通过修约要求，还是议定新的安全条约并以此构建新的双边同盟关系，始终把确保驻日美军继续稳定存在作为双边同盟关系调整的前置条件和核心要素。以1960年新安全条约为基础构建起的新的双边同盟关系，最终确定了驻日美军继续存在的合法框架，但也决定了美日同盟关系调整的相对性和有限性。
It is another logical principle for the US to agree to adjust the bilateral US-Japan alliance relation to maintain a stable US presence in Japan, whatever suggestions are proposed by the Japanese side in 1950s amid the adjustment. Therefore, the new US-Japan bilateral alliance established on the basis of the new security treaty in 1960s ultimately determines the legal framework for the continued presence of US troops in Japan. That is the relativity and limitation of the adjustment of US-Japan alliance relations.
