Justice or charity? An ethical account of poverty alleviation
摘要/Abstract
摘要：
正义与慈善之间既有联系又相互区别，二者同样拥有与之相应的义务，而区分正义与慈善的重要标准就在于是否存在与义务相对应的权利。当前扶贫工作必须以构建正义的伦理关系为主，但作为个体美德的慈善，为扶贫提供道德动力和指引，慈善同样是扶贫的重要伦理内涵。当前扶贫的伦理关系，不是“由慈善走向正义”的单行道，而是正义和慈善共同推进的双行道。
Abstract：
There are both similarities and differences of justice and charity, both of which possess corresponding obligations. The criterion to distinguish justice and charity is whether or not there is right. The ethical relationship of justice is fundamental to the work of poverty alleviation. But as virtue, charity also provides with the moral and ethical motivation for poverty alleviation. Likewise, the poverty alleviation is not a one-way street by charity towards justice, but a two-way street promoted by both justice and charity.
