A critical interpretation of the poem Night Thoughts by Li Bai
摘要/Abstract
摘要：
长期以来，人们以今度古、望文生义，把李白《静夜思》首句“床前明月光”中的“床”字误读成“卧床”，把“静夜”误认为是“深夜”，因此把室外的“月光”误解为室内床前的月光。以致使诗的情景移位，使诗中一些重要词语不能得到确切的解析，并进而导致对作品的内容不能充分认识、对其艺术特点不能准确理解。实际上从作品的语境上可以充分证明“床”为“坐具”，从诗的首句（尤其是原诗的首句）就可证明作者是在室外坐着赏月，因望月而引起思乡之情。此诗在艺术构思上和王昌龄《闺怨》有异曲同工之妙。
Abstract：
Whereas people have long mistaken the bed in the first sentence of Night Thoughts as lying in bed,the tranquil evening as deep in the night,and moonlight as that in front of the bed inside the room,the writer of this paper argues that it is more appropriate to understand the context before phrases and words are properly interpreted.Thus,the bed is a couch,and the poet is sitting outside the room and deeply engrossed in the nostalgia.
