摘要/Abstract
卡洛·金兹伯格所著的《奶酪与蛆虫》是利用16世纪宗教审判记录, 通过普通磨坊主麦诺齐奥的个人史来分析当时的社会与民众文化的研究。使用此种方法, 从个人史的角度推动中国史研究是一种有益的尝试。通过对河北省昌黎县侯家营村村民刘W的个人史研究, 了解其在1940年代到四清运动时期阶级成分的变动, 分析当时中共的阶级政策及在农村的执行情况, 基层社会展开的阶级成分划分不仅仅基于经济状况的判断, 而受到对党与政府的政治态度、村内的人际关系等多种复杂因素的影响。土改时期, 中共以外来的阶级概念进行社会改造运动, 但在基层社会, 原有的农村精英依然维持着自己的权力和影响力。随着四清运动的开展, 阶级成分的重新划分, 中共在基层社会的权力得到进一步加强。
The Cheese and the Worms by Carlo Ginzburg is a 16th-century record of Christian religious inquisition of Menocchio, a miller. The work is a cosmos of a personal history that mirrors the popular culture. This study is aimed at depicting Chinese history through the history of a villager W. Liu, of Houjiaying, Changli county, Hebei province. The 1940s through the four clean-ups campaign reflects formation of hierarchy in modern China. During the land reform, CPC borrows the hierarchical ideology to carry out the social reforms. All the efforts lead to the consolidation of CPC power among the lower classes.
