摘要
儿童观是人们认识儿童的各种观点和看法的总和。儿童观与教育的关系问题是教育研究的重要问题之一。杜威关于儿童观与教育关系的论述是杜威教育思想的精髓。从杜威经常思考的心理学、教育学和社会学的维度研究这一问题,对于认识杜威关于儿童和教育关系的基本看法和主要内容具有重要价值和意义。杜威的心理学维度提供了认识儿童与教育关系的思想基础;教育学维度提供了解决这一问题的实施途径;社会学维度则提供了思考这一问题的解释框架。杜威的基本观点是:儿童的能力和活动是教育的前提,它为一切教育提供了素材,并指出了起点;儿童的真实存在是教育的基础,教育要与儿童的真实生活相结合,为儿童提供一个真实的世界;儿童的当下生活是教育的中心;儿童的生活和活动不能脱离一定的社会环境。总之,教育须依据儿童的身心发展基础,关注儿童的真实存在和当下生活,从而为儿童的发展提供合适的教育。

Views on Children and Education: The Dimensions and Connotation of Dewey's Thinking

Abstract:
The relationship between views on children and education is the essence of Dewey's education thought. This paper analyzes Dewey's thinking on the relationship between children and education from the perspectives of psychology, pedagogy and sociology. The psychological dimension provides the ideological basis for understanding the relationship between children and education, the pedagogical dimension provides the implementation approach to solve problems, and the sociological dimension provides the framework for explaining problems. Dewey's basic viewpoint is that children's innate ability is the premise of education; the real existence of children is the foundation of education; children's present life is the center of education; and children's life and activities cannot be separated from a certain social environment. In a word, education should be based on children's physical and mental development, attention should be paid to children's real existence and present life, and appropriate education should be provided for children's development.
