摘要
“罢黜百家,独尊儒术”的提法源自新文化运动时期易白沙所作《孔子评议》。《汉书》中班固用“推明孔氏,抑黜百家”来概括董仲舒的《天人三策》,用“罢黜百家,表章六经”来赞美汉武帝的政治决策。从“罢黜百家,独尊儒术”到“推明孔氏,抑黜百家”经历了一个汉武帝吸纳“儒术”治国的程度由弱变强的转变。前者是汉武帝“建元新政”中对博士官的“儒家化”政策,后者是元光元年董仲舒在《天人三策》中的要旨。“推明孔氏”是为了树立孔子的“素王”地位,确立儒家为汉代的意识形态。“抑黜百家”是为了纯化官员团体,让国家的行政团体用儒家思想治国。而通过“兴太学”推贤进士正是董仲舒“抑黜百家”“提议”的制度落实。

Dong Zhongshu and his conceptions of almighty monarch power in light of Confucianism

Abstract:
The idea of almighty Confucianism is initially put forward by Dong Zhongshu in honor of the political policies by Emperor Wudi of Han dynasty, which is further discussed by Ban Gu and Yi Baisha. The point is that the monarchy governance combined by the Confucian ideology eventually turns the government to be the best, as Dong Zhongshu argues for the institutional reforms.
